We did not do the admission part of the visit due to time constraints but we did pay for parking. The part that you can see without a ticket is plentiful and we spent several hours visiting. For sure, you can add on activities, for a fee, like a screening of the 3D film "Titans of the Ice Age," or you can simply saunter around the fossil-filled institution from 5 to 8 o'clock.
