You might not miss them, though, because Capture One comes with some very nice one-click Styles — you can buy more Style packs or create and save your own.
There are also numerous bug fixes for Mac and Windows versions. You simply have to install them copy and paste to the right folder and they will appear. I first saw them posted here. Now, to select a sim, like Classic Chrome, you just need to locate the ICC Profile tab that is found in the Base Characterisitcs part of the Colour menu panel see image below from there you will find all the ICC profiles available including the newly installed Fuji ones.
Plus, you can copy and invert layers in Capture One. For example, here I have created a mask from skin color yes, you can create masks from color in Capture One to have a layer with a skin mask only. Then I have copied the skin mask to a new layer and inverted it to have a layer with a masked environment.
Luminosity masks in Capture One Pro Fujifilm 12 allow you to quickly select only bright or dark areas and edit them with all the RAW editing tools. Also, you can apply presets with saved adjustments to layers and easily change layer opacity. This tool allows you to remove a color cast and get the true and realistic color.
BTW, you can use Levels in layers for portraits as well. I'd ask you to grant me a little latitude there as it needed to be expressed that the reason there are those versions is due to cooperation between the manufacturers and Capture One - and not one sided. Of course, and speaking with Capture One that is not off the table, but those manufacturers would have to support.
Laboring on the behalf of users like you who want this is something I will do, and perhaps the more requests the more likely it will happen. So, I encourage anyone to have a go at them. Also, give the day trial a try if Express isn't an option for you to see how you find it. That's literally 4 paragraphs into the article. I think that would be qualified as 'burying the lead.
